Where we deliver

We deliver anywhere in New Zealand, North Island and South Island, rural addresses included.

Freight is calculated from your address and shown as a line item before you pay. You will never be asked to complete an order and wait for a freight quote afterwards.

Delivery cost

Covers, parts and accessories

North Island — free South Island — $50 flat

Reels ordered together with a cover

Auckland — free Rest of the North Island — $50 South Island — $100

Reels ordered on their own

A reel is a long, rigid item and doesn't travel as a standard courier parcel. When a reel ships on its own rather than alongside a cover, freight is charged at cost: [REEL-ONLY FREIGHT RATES]

All freight prices include GST.

Lead times

Every cover is cut to order, so nothing ships from stock.

Custom covers — 14 working days from the date payment is received, then delivery time on top.

Reels, parts and accessories are held in stock and dispatched separately, so they usually arrive before a cover ordered at the same time.

Lead times are estimates, not guarantees. Pool covers are seasonal and spring is the busiest period of the year. If a significant delay happens we will tell you, rather than let the date pass quietly.

Delivery method

Supply-only orders are sent by courier, with tracking emailed to you at dispatch.

Covers are folded and boxed. Someone should be available to receive reels and larger items — they are heavy and can't be left in a letterbox.

Installation

Auckland — $200, fixed.

That price covers both parts of the job: we come to the pool and measure it ourselves before manufacture, then return to fit the cover and hand it over.

Because we take the measurements, the fit becomes our responsibility rather than yours. This is the single practical difference between installation and supply-only, and it matters more than the labour.

Installation is priced as a line item at checkout and only appears for Auckland addresses.

Outside Auckland — supply only.

We deliver nationwide and covers are straightforward to fit yourself. Fitting it yourself has no effect on your warranty.

If you would like installation outside Auckland, contact us. We will tell you honestly whether we can arrange it for your location rather than take the order and work it out later.

You are responsible for providing safe, clear access to the pool area on the day.

Returns

Custom-made covers

Covers are cut to the measurements on your order and cannot be resold to anyone else.

We cannot offer a refund or exchange if you change your mind. This is consistent with the Consumer Guarantees Act, which does not create change-of-mind rights.

If the cover doesn't fit

If you supplied the measurements, those measurements are the specification we manufacture to. A cover made correctly to measurements that turned out to be wrong is not a manufacturing fault, and a free remake or refund isn't available on that basis. Every cover is made 150mm larger than the dimensions you enter, so small differences make no difference to the fit.

If we measured the pool as part of our $200 measure and install service, the fit is ours to get right. If it doesn't fit, we remedy it at our cost.

If a product is faulty or not as described

Your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act always apply. If a product:

  • is not of acceptable quality, or

  • does not match its description, or

  • is not fit for a purpose you told us about,

you are entitled to a remedy — repair, replacement or refund — depending on how serious the failure is.

Contact us with your order number and photos where possible, and we will work through it with you. Most claims are settled from photos without anything needing to be sent back.

Stock items

Reels, parts and accessories that are not custom-made may be returned within 14 days of delivery if unused and in original packaging. Return freight is at your cost.

This is in addition to your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act, which apply in full if the item is faulty or not as described.

How to make a claim

Get in touch with your order number, a description of the problem and photos. Contact details are on our contact page.

Tell us as soon as you notice something. Continuing to use a product with a developing fault usually makes it worse.

Warranty

This page covers delivery and returns. Product warranty terms, including the pro rata schedules, are set out in full on our Warranty page.
